Size guide
These are garment measurements, not body measurements. The most reliable way to size up is to measure a shirt you already like.
Unisex tee, measured flat
| Size | Chest width | Body length | Sleeve length |
|---|---|---|---|
| S | 18"46 cm | 28"71 cm | 15.5"39 cm |
| M | 20"51 cm | 29"74 cm | 16.5"42 cm |
| L | 22"56 cm | 30"76 cm | 17.5"44 cm |
| XL | 24"61 cm | 31"79 cm | 18.5"47 cm |
| 2XL | 26"66 cm | 32"81 cm | 19.5"50 cm |
| 3XL | 28"71 cm | 33"84 cm | 20.5"52 cm |
Measurements are taken with the garment laid flat and allow a tolerance of about one inch either way, which is normal for cut and sewn cotton. Sizes above 2XL are not available on every design.
How to measure
Chest width
Lay the shirt flat and measure straight across from one armpit seam to the other. Compare that number directly to the table, do not double it.
Body length
Measure from the highest point of the shoulder seam, next to the collar, straight down to the bottom hem.
Sleeve length
Measure from the centre back of the collar, across the shoulder, and down to the sleeve opening.
How the fit runs
True to size, with a slightly relaxed body rather than the very fitted cut some graphic tees use. If you normally wear a medium in a high street tee, a medium here will fit with a little more room through the chest.
Between two sizes and want a looser drape, take the larger one. Want it closer to the body, take the smaller. Heather colours contain some polyester and can feel a fraction narrower through the body than the solid colours.
Cotton shrinks. Wash cold and hang to dry and you will keep the length in the table. A hot wash and a hot dryer will take roughly an inch off the body over time.
